Independent website safety check

Is netflix.com a scam?

Ask Silver checked netflix.com for scam and trust signals. Review the latest verdict, the evidence found and the steps you can take to protect yourself before paying or sharing personal information.

This looks suspicious

The email shows a personal email address for Netflix.

Netflix wouldn't typically display a personal email like ellenjaylewis@gmail[.]com in this way.

The email includes a link that could be a phishing trap.

Scammers often use links like 'View All TV Shows & Movies' to steal login details.

The sender's email address is missing from the image.

This makes it impossible to confirm if the email is genuinely from Netflix.

What should you do?

Avoid making a payment or sharing personal details. If you already used the site, contact your bank, change any reused passwords, and keep screenshots of messages or receipts.
