This looks suspicious

This website has no social media

Trustworthy, established websites will often have accounts on multiple social media platforms.

The website mentions FDIC, which is a US banking scheme

This is odd for a site claiming to be a UK bank.

The contact number uses a US-style format

UK banks don’t use numbers like '1-800-BANKING'.

What should you do?

Avoid making a payment or sharing personal details. If you already used the site, contact your bank, change any reused passwords, and keep screenshots of messages or receipts.
